I wanted to challenge myself and see how polished of a course I could create on a topic in a very short time that I don't typically venture into with my day job (I usually focus on technical training). I set a general deadline of two days to create this course from conception to finish, and I used ChatGPT as my SME.

This training was a five minute lesson covering the technology, performance, and design highlights of the new 2023 EQE SUV Mercedes-EQ.  All of the content and photos for this module came from their public website.

Technology department employees have to log their time in an app called Tempo, which is connected to Jira. The Quality Assurance & Release Manager was frequently hosting virtual sessions with new employees, as well as refreshers for existing employees.  I recognized this as a perfect opportunity to standardize the training and free up his time for more pressing matters.

This training was created as a supportive follow-up to a virtual webinar conducted by the product owner for the sales group.  The sales group was doing product training webinars weekly, so a quick-turnaround was required to keep in cadence.  I did not have the luxury to go through the entire ID process for these product training follow-up modules.

I attempted to make the course a bit differently to keep the learner more engaged.  I created comic images in Pixton (https://www.pixton.com) to present the terminology, and then I created a custom crossword puzzle to give the learner a chance to practice and recall what they learned.

This is a short video intended to help customers as they transition to a new telematics provider.  They already have a lot of help available within their app, so we really just needed to point that out to the customer so that they weren't expecting to find detailed training in our LMS.

In addition to explaining the layouts and processes, I included several demos to help tie the pieces together for the learner.  There were a few iterations of this course as the Dashboard feature evolved and was reshaped quite a bit.  The end course result was quite different from the beginning.

This video was created to announce the release of the Dashboard features to customers and pique their interest.  It wasn't originally planned and became a group request as we discussed our communication strategy surrounding the release.

One of the goals of the overall course is to “use the KPI data to identify and resolve problems.”  To support this goal, this sample from the course walks the learner through several scenarios.  This module was created in Storyline 360.

This sample from the course includes several interactions that I built, including one that gives the user an experience like they are in the actual dashboard and can click on the various components and go to their respective pages.  I really enjoyed programming this one.

This module was created as a scenario-based simulation.  There is a lot of interactivity in this example, but the user is given ample of guided help.

This is a sample from a module that demos how to use a new screen that supported the administrative side of a newly released feature.  This format allows the user to watch a step at a time, read the text, and then choose when they are ready to continue.
